COVID-19 Updates

Dear GVS clients,

First of all, we hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe in this time of uncertainty. Our top concern is the health of our clients, customers and network providers as we fulfill our vision care commitments during the COVID-19 outbreak.

At the start of this week we implemented our existing contingency plan as well as new policies at our network provider locations to meet the social distancing guidelines set by the CDC. This includes booking appointments with additional buffer time to decrease the amount of people at our locations at one time. This lowers the risk of spreading bacteria and helps to protect our customers and staff the best we can at this moment. Customers who have appointments will be notified if their location closes early or is not set to open. During this time, we want everyone to feel secure and make sure we are addressing all your concerns.

Please note: Network providers may be closing so be sure to check with the location regarding hours of operation when confirming an appointment.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our staff while limiting the disruption of GVS services, GVS Corporate offices will close our office on March 23rd until further notice. We will be paying close attention to the announcements made by the government that may impact the business. During the crisis, our hours of operations will change to 9am – 5pm EST. However, to continue to provide quality service, our staff, along with your Dedicated Representative(s), will be equipped to work remotely to assist any member, client and/or provider that needs our help. Thank you.
